Little Imprints

They say you can never lose something you never had
But what a beautiful thing it is to have loved
Someone that was so close, yet far away
How do we say good-bye?

Like time suspended,
A wound untended,
You and us

Your little imprints on our hearts forever
In Memoriam

Moving On

How do I mend my broken heart?
My entire world has fallen apart
You have taken my heart away
But my love grows stronger each day

In the embrace of the dark night
How much ever I try to fight
Your thoughts overflow in my head
A swollen face from the tears shed

Inside our memories I am entirely lost, moving_on
Even though time had gone past.
As if something tugging inside my chest
A feeling not felt since I met you first

Friendship between us materialized
Love bloomed but I did not realize
Moments we shared were precious and few
I cherished them more than you ever knew

My barren heart longs for you
My empty soul dies for you
My melancholic eyes cry for you
My empty arms search for you

I’ve tried hard to get a grip
Not go down with the sinking ship
Striving to lessen the pain
Wondering if I would ever love again

They say being in love is nice
Thence your life is full of spice
They even teach you how to love someone
But forget to tell you how to move on
